Supervisor James Fine Honored with ESGR Patriot Award

Kendall is proud to support our military, especially the active-duty service members and reservists on our teams throughout the country. Safety Specialist Tyler Blankenship is Sergeant in the National Guard as a Senior Construction Equipment Repairer. He recently nominated Supervisor James Fine for the Employer Support of The Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award. Tyler had the honor of presenting James the Patriot Award on December 9.

The ESGR is a Department of Defense office established in 1972 to “promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component service members and their civilian employers.” The Patriot award is the ESGR’s first series of awards where an employee serving in the National Guard or Reserve may nominate their civilian supervisors to acknowledge the assistance provided to the service member.

Tyler nominated James for his unwavering support of Tyler’s military commitment and ensuring a smooth transition for him to step away from work for military training and return without any issues. We offer congratulations to James and thank Tyler for his service!
