Built on Values: Recognizing Kendall’s 2025 MVV Award Winners
At Kendall Vegetation Services, our people are at the core of everything we do. The Mission, Vision, and Values (MVV) Program recognizes those who go above and beyond to lead, support their teams, and deliver for our customers.
Last year, CEO Randolph Hoover announced the launch of the Kendall 2025 Mission, Vision, and Values Recognition Program and Employee of the Year Contest — a program designed to highlight the contributions of operational teammates in the field.
Through quarterly nominations and annual recognition, the program highlighted excellence across every level of the organization. Each quarter, one field team member from each region was nominated by their Regional Manager. Of that group, four Quarterly Core Value Award winners were selected for each of the four core value categories, for a total of 16 employees, who received a $250 Arborwear gift card.
From there, the final four top Annual Core Value Award winners were selected and invited to the annual XKIG Leadership Summit in Norfolk, VA. Three received a $2,500 cash bonus, and one was named the 2025 Employee of the Year, with the grand prize of a brand-new Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck.
These winners represented the strength of Kendall and the impact of our people in the field.
Trust:
Timothy Frazier, General Foreperson (Region 3)

Trust is built through resilience, follow-through, and leadership in challenging moments. When faced with a tough job, Timothy Frazier showed what it means to lead with trust. During a difficult project, Timothy stayed focused and positive, helping guide his team through challenges and deliver a successful outcome. As Regional Manager James Fine shared, “He leads his crew with determination and keeps them in high spirits, even in the toughest conditions.” From starting on a chip truck to leading crews today, Timothy’s career reflects hard work and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Transparency:
Bobby Brown, Foreperson (Region 1)

For Bobby Brown, transparency is reflected in how he shows up and supports his team every day. Bobby leads with accountability and supports his team both on and off the job, even stepping in to help crew members get to work when needed. As Regional Manager Eric Moran shared, “He’s always on time, never late… he enjoys going to work with his crew.” His commitment to following through and supporting those around him defines transparency in the field.
Respect:
Gil Velasco, General Foreperson (Region 4)

Respect is earned through how you treat others, and Gil Velasco has built a reputation that reflects that across every level of the organization. Since joining Kendall in 2018, Gil has consistently demonstrated professionalism and leadership, earning the respect of his crews and customers alike. As Vice President of Operations Ragan Rippee shared, “You won’t find a more respectful young man. His crews respect him, his customers respect him, and I respect him.” His leadership sets a strong example of what respect looks like in action.
Unity:
Wilber Perez, Aerial Lift Trimmer (Region 4)

Unity is about working together toward a shared goal, and Wilber Perez demonstrated that during a complex project. By bringing multiple crews together under one plan, Wilber ensured alignment and collaboration, leading to a successful outcome. As Account Manager Stephen Authement shared, “He wanted everybody to be unified — get together, build a job plan, and get it done.” His leadership highlights the importance of teamwork in the field.
Employee of the Year

We are proud to recognize Timothy Frazier, General Foreperson (Region 3), as Kendall’s 2025 Employee of the Year. His resilience, leadership, and commitment to his crew demonstrate what it means to lead by example in the field.
A Culture Built on Our Values
Our 2025 MVV Award winners represent the strength of Kendall — leaders who show up for their teams, support one another, and take pride in the work they do. Their contributions continue to shape our culture and drive success across the organization.
We are proud to announce that the MVV Program continues in 2026, providing ongoing opportunities for field team members across every region to be recognized. From crew members to general forepersons, all operational employees are eligible to participate through regional nominations to reinforce our commitment to recognizing those who bring our values to life every day.
